5. Do think
about flexibility
As you know kids are expensive so make sure that the
Stroller you are purchasing gives you the flexibility that
you need. Strollers like the Bugaboo are expensive but can
give you great flexibility with Basinets and variable
angled seats that will suit your child from birth until
they don’t need a stroller anymore.
6. Don’t wait
till the last moment to buy
Once you have decided the Stroller you want look around
on-line for the best deal. Unfortunately some of the cheap
on-line retailers don’t always have the best supplies so
you may have to wait sometime for delivery. This is worth
it if you have plenty of time till you need the Stroller
but don’t use if you need it quickly.
7. Do think
about Safety
Whatever you do always think about child safety first.
Check the stability of the Stroller before buying
especially if you are thinking about buying a jogging
Stroller or an innovative design. Also have a look at the
harness supplied, five points harnesses will provide the
right security for your child but three point harness can
be ok if you are careful for short trips.
8. Do make
sure the Stroller works for you as well as your
child
The Stroller will be used by you as much as your child.
Make sure the handles are the right height for you, if you
don’t then back problems can follow. If you and your better
half are very different in height look for a Stroller that
has adjustable handles and that they can be adjusted
quickly.
9. Do look at
the wheels
The wheels are very important think about the conditions
you will be using the Stroller in. You will probably be
using it in crowded shops so the ease of turning is
important. If you are going to be going over rough surfaces
think about suspension or pneumatic tires which will give
your child comfort.
10. Do ask
other parents what they think of their
Stroller
The best advice you can get is to ask other parents what
they think of their stroller. You will usually get a
positive reply but dig deeper. Ask them how the use their
stroller and what they don’t like about it to get a true
reply.
Good luck buying
